They are useful when you repeatedly return to the same story question during drafting or revision. A view can capture the active filters and section visibility. For example, you might create a view for one protagonist, another for the romance arc, another for the central mystery, and another for continuity warnings. # Useful Saved Views A character-focused view shows one character's scenes, appearances and relevant story evidence. A romance view can combine the couple, relationship events, romance metrics and emotional weight. A mystery view can focus on the investigation plot line, thread events, asset evidence and Mystery metric. A revision view can show warnings, revision status, purpose and pacing while hiding lanes you do not need for that pass. # Writer Tip Name views for the question they answer: "Where is Beth's grief visible?" is often more useful than "Beth filter". # Related Guides - [Filters and Focus](/Help/Article/timeline.filters) - [Metrics](/Help/Article/timeline.metrics)
